The hills of Donegal will ring with the music and voices of its international superstars next year for the ultimate seisiun.

 

Both a reunion and a birthday celebration, Abhaile - The Homecoming brings together the mighty CLANNAD and ALTAN on Saturday 13th July 2013 for a key flagship event of The Gathering.

 

There could be no more fitting homage to recognize the 25th anniversary of the Earagail Arts Festival, a festival set up in the shadow of our iconic mountain which has grown to become one of Ireland’s most respected annual cultural events. This will be a special concert with significant international appeal, a gathering of the clans of Donegal and a calling to the homeland. Taking place at a unique location in the Festival Marquee in the West of the county, Abhaile - The Homecoming will be a celebration of the culture, native language and heritage of Donegal.
