I am listning to Sirius right now and am actually wondering why I never listened so much to it before. I think the album has some wonderful vocals on it. Máires voice is very powerful and seems almost free on the album, something that is lacking on most other albums. And there are some good rythms too. Definately different!

Sirius...sirius
I agree with you mise. I've listened to the majority of Sirius twice today (once on the way to school and once on the way home) and I found myself thinking about all the negative comments I've heard/read about it. I think it's a really good album! It's not my favourite, but I still like it. When I've had a bad day and am in a bad mood, it helps me let off steam. I like the power in the vocals. My favourite song from the album is either 'White Fool' because it's so accurate, or 'Turning Tide' which has a wonderful atmosphere about it. Who else likes Sirius?

Hi everyone! You're right, Sirius is a very beautiful album. I've read some negative things about it too, because it seems that Clannad have left their folk roots...but it's a lie: Clannad have tried some new, original roots in Sirius, but they had always their special sound, they still used Gaelic and Sirius is the proof that they can move in every kind of music, from jazz to rock..and they always create a beautiful thing, full of happiness and fascination

Favourite Album
I keep coming back to "Sirius" as my possible favourite album. My favourite track on the album is the title track. Such strong brilliant vocals and a beautiful atmosphere is created on this song.
