Dúlamán

1976

In 1976 Clannad produced Dúlamán, "which probably was the high point of their albums of solely traditional material. The title track is a song telling the story of two dúlamán or seaweed merchants, one of whom is trying to win the hand of the other's beautiful daughter. The other highlight of the album is the rousing tale of sibling rivalry in "Two Sisters".
